GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ INITIATES THE CONSTRUCTION FOR THE HERRERA III PLANT (32.81 MWp) IN PALENCIA

GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ kicked off construction on the HERRERA III solar plant at the beginning of April 2024, located in the municipalities of Herrera de Pisuerga and Páramo de Boedo (Palencia), close to our PV Herrera II facility, boasting a capacity of 50 MWp.

The plant, with a capacity of 32.81 MWp, will feature over 46,000 modules utilizing HJT technology, mounted on single-axis trackers spanning an area of 58.94 hectares.

It is projected that this plant will generate 60,000 MWh of clean energy, averting the emission of 49,423.35 tons/year of CO2.

Throughout the construction phase, an estimated 100 job positions will be created, alongside GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ teams for the Construction (EPC) and Maintenance (O&M) departments.
