The VILLANUEVA plant, with an installed capacity of 49.99 MWp, has 76,896 PERC technology photovoltaic modules mounted on a structure with a single-axis tracker.
It will generate more than 100,300 MWh of clean, renewable energy per year and avoid atmospheric emissions of approximately 79,951.80 Tn/year of CO₂.
The VILLANUEVA photovoltaic plant has created more than 250 local jobs for its construction, as well as the direct hiring of three on-site jobs for the installation’s maintenance operations, in this area of Castilla La Mancha.
The PV VILLANUEVA plant is located in the municipality of Palomares del Campo; very close to PV VILLANUEVA I (in Torrejoncillo del Rey), already in optimal operation, and PV VILLANUEVA II, in a satisfactory process of construction.
